How Majestic Is Your Name!

Oh Lord, my God, how majestic is Your name!
For nothing You create is ever quite the same.
The Earth, the sky, the wind, the flame -
Nothing can compare to that of Your fame.
You created the sky and sea
And other lands, which stand before me.
You created the eagle, which soars so high
To its mighty nest up in the sky,
The falling water with its thunderous roar
That quenches our thirst forevermore.
You spoke the Word and it was done -
The Word of the only Begotten Son.
For You only so loved the World
That You came with trumpets and banners unfurled
To show us all this world's great splendor:
So, unto You, our praise we render.
And with our voices we gladly raise
Hymns and chants of thankful praise.
