On Christmas Day

Written By: Roger William Sterling, III

On Christmas Day, a star was born
In a world so tattered and torn
With the sorrow - sick and worry - worn
In a stable so forlorn.

On Christmas Day, many people came:
The blind, the sick, the meek, the lame-
To see this Babe and praise His name
And give thanks to God:
Three - in - the - Same.

Come, let us celebrate His day of birth -
A day of cheer and noble worth.
And let us each give thanks always
For the wonderful Gift
That keeps giving today.
