Impromptu Players is a non-profit organization that produces three live plays each year at the Wooten Theater. The Wooten Theater is located at 102 East First Street in downtown DeRidder, Louisiana 70634.

A local “Little Theatre” group, (previously known as The Arts and farces), runs into a confrontation with the local cops while rehearsing their latest production. Rehearsals are held at the directors home to save on electricity bills at their theatre. Unfortunately, one of their members is found dead at his home right next door. Or is he just acting?
