The Showboat Dinner Theater is located south of Leesville, Lousiana at the Fort Polk military base, in building 4711 off Texas Avenue. The theater seats 90 patrons on tiers providing everyone easy visibility to the stage. There are both dinner and non-dinner performances.

Typically, opening night is on a Friday and runs three successive weekends. The opening and closing Friday nights are non-dinner performances. Reservations are required for dinner performances. Walk-ins welcome on non-dinner nights.

Four plays are produced every year, with one every three months. Usually plays are scheduled during February, May, August, and November

All performances are open to the general public.
