The Roman Road

The phrase "Roman Road" is simply a way of descibing God's way to heaven. It is called the "Roman Road" because all the verses below come from the book of Romans in the Bible. These five steps down the "Roman Road" will lead YOU to heaven through a relationship with Jesus Christ!

Step 1- Realize you are a sinner seperated from God

"As it is written, there is none rightous, no not one" Romans 3:10

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

Step 2- Realize the penalty for your sin is eternal death seperated from God, in hell.

"The wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23

Step 3- Realize that Jesus paid for your sin by dying on the cross.

"God demonstrated his own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Step 4- Believe that Jesus Christ has already paid your debt of sin and confess it to be true.

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and belive in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation." Romans 10:9-10

Step 5- Ask Jesus to save you right now!

"Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13
